I can’t believe what happened…
I didn’t know Tom, but i m crying crying crying after the news reached me while going around the world.
To the parents, family, friends, you can be really proud of your son and friend, he died as a real heroe… Sometimes life seems so unjust, but if Tom had to go, then it was to give a message to us young people, to continue what he was doing,to make the difference, helping, and also to fight against unjustice in the sake of Tom, Wyatt and others who now look down and want us all to be brave and to never give up! Eventhough I didn’t know him, his beautiful stories, his life, makes me wanna act- just as he did!
He was with no doubt a real young heroe! Dying a heroe may not be a comfort, but for me this is one of the most beautiful ways to go, inspiring others, being an example, and making the world react! His death is in no way needless, it is surely gonna lead to the saving of some others, lead to differences, through people having been inspired by Tom and other young heroes like him!!!

Thanks to Tom, who I respect and admire deeply, and thanks to his parents to have given birth to such a wonderful human being, who has accomplished amazingly much, made many people happy and also inspired many of those who didn’t know him, and this in such short time.
Even if too early, he now rests in PEACE, after having made his worldknown death a ground for reflexion, for reaction and for fight for justice!

What a tragedy!! How close to the hotel did this shooting occur? I hope that the other volunteers and staff will be well cared for as they grieve the loss of their colleague. Please provide follow up reports! I know the young woman who was with him and fled to the hotel to seek help. We are concerned for her and all those who will be impacted. Is there a way to send cards of sympathy? thanks. PMB
