 2010 FOL Smile! Calendar
As most of you know, I spent a lot of time this summer working on the 2010 Lesotho Calendar in order to help raise funds for Friends of Lesotho and the projects it supports. Well, after some unexpected delays, the wall calendar is finally available. It has been a real joy to work on, and I hope you’ll love it as much as I do.
Check it out at www.cafepress.com/lesotho. The calendar is called Smile! because it is sure to bring a smile to your face each and every day of the year. Whether you’ve been to Lesotho or not, you can’t help but fall in love with the 12 Basotho portrayed in the calendar.
All profits (20% of the purchase price) go to fund FOL projects like tuition assistance, aid to orphanages, HIV/AIDS prevention, and small education and development projects in Lesotho.
The quality of photos in the calendar is exceptional. A huge thanks to the photographers whose work is included in the calendar: Jennifer Anderson Bähr, Joseph Langston, Nicole Haber Potsane, Allison Matlack Pranger, Pam Rogers, Linda Rosen, and Peter Siegenthaler. Also, a special thanks to all the photographers who contributed excellent photos to this project. I’m sorry we couldn’t include all their photos in this calendar, it was certainly hard to choose between all the fantastic photos, but I hope we will have an opportunity to display their images in the future: Bill Dunn, H H Edwards Jr, Don Hanford, Faye Farmer, Jane Hale, Betty Hiebert, Patricia Koehler, Julie Mehlhoff, William Theakston, Joseph Thompson, and Dyann VanDusen.
Ke a leboha, le sala hantle,
Janissa
